Sweet.

Lets kick off year three with a serious discussion on politics, plz.  This may be a little odd coming from me, but hear me out, this is very important to me.

As most of you know, the presidential election is coming up in november, and I'm growing increasingly sceptical of the current state of our politics.

On the left wing, we have a hardcore liberal bent on socializing a country that has thrived on capitalism since its birth. And from the republicans, we get a forgettable candidate who essentially fails to appeal to the roots of conservatism, yet still brings about appropriate solutions to some of the big issues of the time. The media is fawning over Obama, don't let yourself get sucked into the myth too.  DONT VOTE OBAMA. HERE'S WHY:

The democrat is proposing an alarming doubling of the capital gains tax, in addition to other radical increases in things like social security.  This is of course focused on the upper class of America, under the guise of "fairness."  But is it really fair to punish those who work hard to accumulate wealth? Is it really fair to  jeopardize small businesses to allow the government to afford health care for illegal immigrants?! NO! My father owns a small business, and he's admitted that the Obama taxes will crush the living hell out of it. Not good, because his business will probably die under the new regime.  Real fair, Barack. America's economy is unique but effective, don't doubt it because times are a little tough thanks to high gas prices.  (McCain's got a plan to fix that, btw, unlike this celebrity, Obama) Obama's taxes will not help the poor, they will instead punish the successful.  There won't be a difference between the educated and the uneducated. No difference between a legal citizen and someone who's swam across the border to exploit welfare. There will only be poor all around, leeching off of the government bureaucrats. IS THAT THE KIND OF COUNTRY YOU WANT TO LIVE IN?

Secondly, and perhaps most important of all, Obama shouldn't be trusted with the handling of foreign policy in these dangerous times.  The man has little experience in the field (as demonstrated by his willingness to peacefully negotiate with the Iranians, who've recently refused to stop the production of WMDs) The Iranians must be stopped, and petty negotiations with a lunatic like Ahmadinejad aren't enough.  Moving out of Iraq as quickly as Obama is suggesting is also catastrophic.  It allows the hostile Iranians a free ticket into the country and jeopardizes everything we've worked for over there.
